What makes one feel heiter (cheerful)? The seasons, creating, well-being and community.
Looking at the recent news and the situation most of us find ourselves in, we need Heiterkeit (the noun that comes with heiter) more than ever. That is why we decided to organise monthly heiter sessions. Heiter sessions are mindful experiences that give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in an creative and/or calming activity and thus, add more joy to your daily life. In May we will all meet (on zoom) for a “Scone Baking” workshop with cook and food writer Amy Minichiello.
In the session (which takes place on the 25th of May at 9.30am BST | 10.30am CET), we will bake scones alongside each other. Amy will talk us through all the individual steps. Please note that you will have to prepare & bring along equipment and ingredients so that you can bake your scones. You will receive an email with the complete recipe as well as the relevant zoom link prior to the session.
What Amy says about the workshop: “As we bake along together, I will guide you through each of the steps to help you create perfectly light and fluffy scones so that you’ll be able to make them at a moment notice when those unexpected guests arrive for morning or afternoon tea.”
